SHAUN COOK, from North Cerney, has won the Wilts and Glos Standard Swindon Speedway Mascot competition.
Shaun's 11-year-old son Kyle, who goes to Stratton School, will be the team's mascot for the forthcoming home fixture against Belle Vue Aces on Thursday, July 10.
Belle Vue represent tough opposition to the high-flying Robins as their team includes last Saturday's British Grand Prix winner Jason Crump and former Swindon favourite Charlie Gjedde.
Shaun was the first entrant drawn to correctly name Alun Rossiter as the Swindon Robins manager.
As part of Kyle's prize, he will enjoy a pre-meeting Pits walk and join the team on the parade before racing starts.
He will be introduced to the crowd along with the riders and he receives a complementary Swindon Robins replica race shirt.
