Man dies in hospital after crash
A MAN died after his breakdown vehicle was involved in a crash on the A419 near Frampton Mansell last night.
The road was closed in both directions for approximately five hours following the crash, which occurred just before 6.45pm.
Diversions were put in place at Football Roundabout, Cirencester and Aston Down while emergency services attended the scene.
The driver of the Renault double bed breakdown vehicle, a 56-year-old man from Truro, Cornwall, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where he later died.
The coroner has been informed of the death.
