Skydive for charity

IF YOU have a head for heights you could raise money for charity through a sponsored skydive above South Cerney later this year.

The Stroke Association is looking for people to sign up for the challenge but there are only a few places left and the closing date is April 18.

As part of the European Stroke Awareness events, thousands of likeminded people across Europe will be undertaking life affirming activities to raise awareness of stroke, the UK's third biggest killer and leading cause of severe disability.

The skydive takes place on Saturday, May 10 from airfields across the country. No experience is necessary as full training is provided on the day.

The skydive will be free for participants raising £395 in sponsorship.

To reserve a place call 0117 953 1200 or email schesworth@stroke.org.uk Are you already taking part or do you have a similar fund-raising venture planned?

Let us know and let us help publicise your fund-raising efforts. Contact news@wiltsglosstandard.co.uk
