PLANS to create a lasting legacy of King Charles III's Coronation in Cirencester have been announced.
Cirencester Town Council want to celebrate King Charles' love of the natural world by encouraging the community to plant wildflowers in his honour.
All primary school children in Cirencester will be given a pack of wildflower seeds to plant in their own garden or in the designated area of Town Council green spaces that have been identified.
Volunteers from St James's Place will start preparing the coronation wildflower meadow next week, starting Monday (April 17), to landmark this historic occasion in Cirencester for years to come.
More information about this will be released on the town council website soon.
