FOUR chefs are set to take part in an exciting food competition in the Cotswold capital next weekend.
The Cotswold Yorkshire Pudding Competition will return to Cirencester, after a four year absence, on National Yorkshire Pudding Day.
The event will take place at Téatro restaurant - which is situated in Beeches Road, Cirencester - at around 4pm on Sunday, February 4.
Two competitors - Neil Johnson, of Cheeky Swine Smokehouse & Grill, and TJ Case, of Téatro - were announced at the beginning of the year.
The two other chefs who are ready to take on this challenge are Danny Field, of Waters Edge wedding venue in Ewen, and Ethan Rodgers, of Cirencester Park Polo Brasserie.
An independent judging panel will judge the Yorkshire puddings before declaring an overall winner.
The four men are excited to showcase their cooking skills and all hope to be crowned the Cotswold King of the Yorkshire Pudding 2024.
Mr Rodgers said: “I have worked with two of the other finalists so I know their pudding capabilities.
"The competition is going to be tough, maybe fierce at times, but I am confident I will rise to the occasion.”
